ChattyBox is a mobile educational application designed to help preschool and primary school children learn English through play. The app combines dynamic lesson generation, interactive exercises, and gamified rewards, making language learning engaging both for kids and reassuring for parents. Professional teachers prepare content with visual aids, illustrations, and real teacher videos, while algorithms adapt lessons to each child’s journey.

Solution

ChattyBox lessons are structured as a gradual learning path. First, children are introduced to new words and phrases, seeing their translation into their native language. They repeat after the teacher to practice pronunciation and memorization. Later, they move on to interactive tasks where they respond directly in English, guided by questions and on-screen images.

The exercises cover basic categories like colors, singular/plural, family and emotions, articles, and other early grammar and vocabulary foundations. Daily activities include four structured sets: Learn, Remember, Answer, Understand, ensuring both comprehension and practical use.

Children play mini-games to memorize vocabulary, repeat phrases in context, and answer questions to demonstrate real understanding. Weekly lessons progressively expand their vocabulary and sentence-building skills, transforming repetition into confident use.

The reward system evolved over time: initially, children earned crystals to spend on videos or mini-games within the app. Later, a web game portal was integrated via WebView, and the latest version connects to a parent-controlled ecosystem, where children earn crystals through learning and request access to entertainment apps.
