Kinect Analyze and Disrupt is an interactive Unity-based application developed for a medical exhibition. Designed to attract and engage visitors, the installation combines motion tracking and real-time visual effects to deliver a symbolic, memorable experience.
Solution
The user stands in front of a Kinect v2 sensor, which generates a dynamic human figure made of particles. After a short visualization, the user is prompted to break through a virtual wall with a hand gesture. This wall represents the metaphorical barriers in treating certain diseases.
The experience blends symbolic storytelling with intuitive physical interaction, reinforcing the exhibitionβs medical message through gamification. The project was completed under tight deadlines with direct client coordination shortly before the event.
Impact
The installation captured strong visitor interest, offering an engaging way to interact with the booth. Its playful yet meaningful format drew in attendees and sparked conversations around the companyβs messaging.
