Our primary goal with the Morph2Fit App is to encourage consistent exercise by integrating real-life workouts with an engaging character progression system. By transforming users' fitness activities into in-game character upgrades, we aim to provide a motivating and immersive experience that makes staying active both fun and rewarding. The app is designed to be accessible and engaging, promoting healthy habits through gamification and real-time data tracking.

Concept

The Fitness Motivation App inspires users to stay active by linking their real-life workouts to a dynamic in-game character progression. Users begin by creating a character that starts at level 1 with a non-athletic appearance. As users exercise and meet their daily goals, tracked via Apple Watch, their character levels up and becomes more athletic. The app features a daily reset at midnight, encouraging users to maintain consistency. This gamified approach turns fitness routines into an engaging and motivating experience, helping users to meet their goals and stay active.

Development

The development of the Morph2Fit App involved several key steps:

• User Authorization and Character Creation: 
  Implemented secure user authorization for seamless sign-up and login.
  Developed character creation with gender-specific customization, starting at level 1 with a non-athletic appearance.
• Real-Life Workout Integration:
  Integrated with Apple Watch to receive real-time workout data, using Apple HealthKit for data management.
  Set daily training goals and tracked exercise duration and intensity automatically.
• Character Progression System: 
  Designed a robust progression system where meeting daily goals levels up the character. 
  Developed visual transformations to reflect the character’s journey from non-athletic to athletic.
• Daily Goal and Time Management: 
  Configured daily goal resets at midnight, providing a fresh start each day.
  Implemented a 24-hour period for users to meet their exercise goals, with level drops for unmet goals to maintain challenge and motivation.
