We have developed a specialized platform that revolutionizes the way cybersecurity services are sourced and delivered. While it draws inspiration from traditional freelancing marketplaces like Upwork, our solution is uniquely tailored to emphasize security and trust. At the core of this emphasis is a proprietary trust-score system, enabling clients to confidently select professionals who have been rigorously verified. Funds are only released upon final approval of the work, and an integrated dispute resolution mechanism provides clients with an additional layer of confidence and protection.
From a technical standpoint, our platform is built using Golang on the backend and React.js on the frontend, ensuring exceptional performance and scalability. We leverage AWS for hosting and Cloudflare for robust security and traffic acceleration. PostgreSQL serves as the primary database, reliably handling extensive transaction volumes and facilitating rapid data access. For seamless and secure financial transactions, Stripe is integrated as the payment system. We further employ Stripe Identity to verify users in real time, and Checkr is utilized for AI-powered background checks, guaranteeing that clients can find trustworthy freelancers quickly.
The backend is structured into two core services:
1. API Service – Handles incoming requests and manages critical business logic.
2. Consumer Service – Manages WebSocket connections for real-time communication and orchestrates complex background tasks, preventing the main API from becoming overloaded.
This design ensures smooth, uninterrupted interactions between end users and the API server. Our architecture is underpinned by well-defined domain models, thoughtfully constructed database repositories, and reusable utility packages, creating a development environment that is both flexible and maintainable. Such modularity allows for rapid scaling and the continuous introduction of new features—whether for project management, payment processing, or contract administration—so that the platform can evolve alongside growing cybersecurity demands.
