We created a series of 3D illustrations for a project that helps determine how noisy a neighbor is. Our work involved creating all visual elements of the project, starting with concept art and ending with exporting scenes in Glb/Gltf format for use on the website.
The process of creating each scene began with the development of concept art, in which we defined the overall composition and placement of objects in the scene. Then we moved on to creating 3D models of all objects, including setting up materials, textures, and lighting to achieve the desired effect.
To create the renders, we used Blender software, where we created a visual scene, set up the camera, adjusted materials and textures, lighting to achieve the desired result. Then we used the Cycles rendering engine, which allows us to create high-quality images taking into account the physical properties of materials and lighting.
To create the real-time version of the scene, we created a Low Poly model of the scene and projected the previously created render onto it. This allows us to create realistic and fast-loading scenes for use on the website.
In addition, we created separate models for shadows to ensure maximum realism. The entire process of creating one scene took from 40 to 56 hours, depending on complexity.
We are confident that our skills in creating 3D models and scenes can be useful for any project that requires a high level of visual appeal and realism.
