About the project. Whisker Labs makes a sensor that plugs into a wall outlet and detects hidden faults in wiring and appliances before they can cause a fire. We produced a promo video for it. The main challenge was to show the invisible: the electricity running inside the walls. To do that, we built a two-story cutaway house, so the viewer sees every room at once and follows the signal as it travels through the wiring from the utility pole and the breaker panel to every outlet.

What we did:

- 3D scene in Blender. A house with detailed interiors, landscaping, a street with a power line, and evening lighting. Over 1,000 objects and about 280 materials.
- Procedural wiring animation. A Geometry Nodes group in which a glowing network of wires grows outward in a wave from the source. It is driven by a single parameter.
- AI in production. Blender renders defined the composition, camera and geometry. A neural network pushed the materials and lighting to photorealism and generated the complex moments (arcing, flash) between rendered keyframes.
- Scene automation with Claude + Blender MCP: texture audit, material synchronization, and a material catalog with previews.

Result: the final video and a series of still renders of the cutaway house.

Tools: Blender (Geometry Nodes), NanoBanana Pro, AI video generation, Claude Code + Blender MCP, video editing.
